According to research, the typical online purchase take over 3 hours. After online shoppers finish researching all the options and adding them to cart, half an hour will be spent narrowing down the choices by comparing to other similar products for price and quality. Following that, they spend another hour on average finalizing the items in cart and checking out.

My Personal Experience

About six years ago, during my college days when I lived on campus without a car, I frequently relied on Walmart for snack and commodity deliveries. About a year ago, I resumed using the Walmart app while in graduate school. My roommate and I were chatting about several less-than-smooth purchasing experiences we had using the Walmart app.These included spending time comparing and selecting items for our cart, only to discover that some were unavailable at checkout, receiving inconvenient delivery calls, and occasionally missing our deliveries.

But have others encountered these issues as well?
